USERS AFFECTED:
All users of App Connect Enterprise or IBM Integration Bus who
run unit tests that involve a node that accesses a database


Platforms affected:
z/OS, MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When running a unit test that uses a node that accesses a
database an abort may occur.
Running the same test using an integration server there is no
abort.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • When running a unit test the flow being tested was not starting
from an Input node as it is when a flow is run on an integration
server.
This meant that the thread context had not been initialised,
when that uninitialised thread context was used it caused an
abort.
The code has been corrected to check for and to handle this
situation.
