APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A dismount operation may fail in IBM Storage Protect server
  version 8.1.23 because the internal Move Medium command fails
  with I/O sense data 05/53/03 or 05/2C/00 based on different tape
  libraries.
  
  It could be a virtual tape library (VTL) or a physical library.
  
  
  If the library does not support Auto-Eject function, the server
  may fail to the dismount operation with the SCSI sense data as
  05/53/03 or 05/2C/00 based on different libraries.
  
  With this sense data, the Atape driver does not retry the MOVE
  MEDIUM command and sets the compCode value 207 for
  DD_ILLEGAL_REQUEST.
  
  With this compCode, the server does not retry the failure of
  dismount and set ANR8300E and ANR8469E messages for the failure.
