IT46259: JMS JNDI PROPERTIES WITH NAMES MORE THAN 124 CHARACTERS CAN CAUSE ABEND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using JNDI for JMS, queues whose length is more than 124,
  lookup of JNDI context causes abend.
  

Local fix

• Try using shorter JNDI names for JMS queues so that it is less
  than 124 characters.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  ACE is using JMS Node location to create JNDI name. ACE also
  enforces that JNDI names can not be more than 128 characters.
  This check can cause abend at JNI layer.
  

Problem conclusion

• Product no longer enforces limitation on JNDI names length and
  rectified itself such that abend does not occur.
