Error description

  • While using Microsoft Dynamics 365 nodes, users might encounter
parsing errors when trying to launch the connector discovery
process using credentials stored in the vault. The reason for
this being that the discover API relies on the endpoint to
respond with a 401 status code in the absence of an access token
in the authorization header and then generates a new access
token. If the endpoint is designed to respond with a redirect
URL in such cases, this operation might fail due to JSON parsing
errors as there would be an attempt to parse the redirect URL
    containing HTML content.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
While using Microsoft Dynamics 365 nodes, users might encounter
parsing errors when trying to launch the connector discovery
process using credentials stored in the vault. This occurs as
the discover API relies on the endpoint to respond with a 401
status code in the absence of an access token in the
authorization header and then generates a new access token. If
the endpoint is designed to respond with a redirect URL in such
cases, this operation might fail due to JSON parsing errors as
there would be an attempt to parse the redirect URL containing
    HTML content.

Problem conclusion

  • The App Connect Enterprise product has been modified to handle
the parsing errors thrown when trying to launch the connector
discovery process using credentials stored in the vault.
