APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Executing the command "RESET CONTAINERSIZE XXXX" with a
    non-existent pool will cause the IBM Storage Protect server to
    crash every time.
    
    On Linux platform, the stack looks similar to:

    NOTE: The RESET CONTAINERSIZE command should be run only when
    advised by IBM Storage Protect support.

Local fix

  • Do not run RESET CONTAINERSIZE command against a non-existent
    pool name .
