Question
When customizing the theme in Cognos Analytics 12.0.x, the NavBar color settings do not apply to the Open Menu. The Open menu is the main access point to the Cognos Analytics content and functionalities and is accessed by clicking the hamburger menu icon in the top left of the application bar.
Answer
In 12.0.x, the NavBar was replaced by the Open Menu.
At this time, it is not possible to theme the Open Menu. Currently we only support 2 carbon themes for the Open Menu which can be set with uiShellTheme with the values of dark or light.
