Global Crowdstrike Issue & IT Outage

IBM was well aware of the Crowdstrike issue that caused worldwide outages impacting Windows-based laptops, cloud servers and physical servers, and our teams worked quickly and diligently to support impacted clients.
IBM’s internal operations were not significantly impacted by this event. A small number of IBM offerings experienced short-term disruptions, all of which were restored to full service.
 
Clients who believe they may still be experiencing issues with an IBM product or service should contact their typical IBM support channels.
 
As with the rest of the industry, IBM will be performing a full evaluation of its response to this event, as well as following the continued updates provided by Crowdstrike on their actions.  Clients also can refer to the Crowdstrike support portal for details on this issue directly from Crowdstrike: https://www.crowdstrike.com/blog/statement-on-windows-sensor-update/
