Known Issue DT389931 - DOORS/CQ/EWM: Rich Text Markups not showing in Redline Diffs on Change Management RCR Report

Problem

When using Change Management -> Requirement Change Request-> Create RCR Report, the report would display the changes and the "Redline Diff" only showing with HTML tags which is hard to read.

Symptom

This is identified as known issue #DT389931

Cause

The issue occurs using change management configuration with DOORS and ClearQuest or RTC/CCM integration for RCR feature. When generating an RCR Report, the report is not getting Rich Text Markups.

Steps to Reproduce the issue:

1- Create a Formal Module

2- Configure the module for Change Management

3- Submit a Requirements Change Request

4- Open the module in submitted default RCR

5- Make changes in the requirements using default RCR

6- Save the module

Create an RCR Report from the same module 

7- Create a report using Change Management > Requirements Change Request > Create RCR Report

8- Keep default selection using built-in template -"C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.7\lib\dxl\standard\changemgnt\misc\RCR_Report.dta"

9- Select Output format and click Next and Finish to Run the document generation

10- Open the output file and notice the HTML texts in Redline Differences. For example:

Diagnosing The Problem

The issue has been identified to the template 'RCR_Report.dta' provided in the DOORS installation.

Resolving The Problem

1- Rename an existing 'RCR_Report.dta' located in DOORS installation directory. 

For example:

C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.7\lib\dxl\standard\changemgnt\misc\RCR_Report.dta

2- Extract and copy attached 'RCR_Report.dta' to the location in Step 1

3- Create RCR Report
