Configuring Global Search using PVC in Maximo IT environment with cluster setup

Steps

The steps applicable to both standalone JVM setup and cluster setup.
1. Provision a Persistent Volume Claim (PVC) for Maximo Manage using Network File System (NFS) with mount point e.g. /nfsdrive/globalsearch

2. Login to Maximo IT
(a) Go To -> System Configuration -> Platform Configuration -> Cron Task setup
(b) Filter for cron task "PmObjSearchCron" and open the record.
(c) Deactivate the cron task.
(d) Go To -> System Configuration -> Platform Configuration -> System Propertie
(e) Update following system property
LUCENEOBJINDEX=/nfsdrive/globalsearch
3. Login to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) console
(a) Update Configuration for Manage application
(b) Configure the Persistent Volume Claims
Mount path=/nfsdrive/globalsearch
PVC name=globalsearch
Size=100Gi
Additional properties -> Storage class name=ocs-storagecluster-cephfs
Configure the Persistent Volume Claims
(c) Save the changes and redeploy.

4. Once Maximo IT has been redeployed, login to Maximo IT
(a) Go To -> System Configuration -> Platform Configuration -> Cron Task setup
(b) Filter for cron task "PmObjSearchCron" and open the record.
(c) Activate the cron task and Reload Request
5. Once the cron task PmObjSearchCron has successfully run, you can now perform Global Search from all pods (JVM).
