This document lists the configuration limits for all IBM Storage Virtualize Systems (IBM FlashSystem and SVC) using version 8.7.0.x

  • If a Remote Copy partnership exists to a system that supports a lower number of basic volumes, the maximum number of volumes is reduced to the lower limit, or 8192 if that is greater. For example, if one system has a limit of 15864 volumes and the other has a limit of 8192 volumes, both systems will be limited to 8192 volumes.
