APAR status

Error description

  • When a second "START CHANNEL" command is issued for the same
    requester/server channel pair, then a second RQSTR channel
    instance is
    started with status of INITIALIZING.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    A defect in MQ channel start code allowed a second instance of a
    requester channel to
    start when an instance of the channel was already running.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The defect has been fixed.
