Error description
Starting with IBM Storage Protect Server version 8.1.13, the replication storage rule feature was available. When the IBM Storage Protect Server replication storage rule does not complete successfully, the involved encrypted container storage pool on the IBM Storage Protect target replication server may show the "Pct Encrypted" less than 100% as seen from the output of the command "QUERY STGPOOL <poolname> F=D". The following conditions must be present for this APAR to apply: 1. The replication storage rule does not complete successfully. Symptoms include "ended with a failure", "getting hung", "being cancelled", or any other situation except a successful end. Even if the replication method is switched back to REPLICATE NODE later, as long as the replication storage rule was used and not completed successfully once, this issue may be encountered. 2. When running following db2 command on target replication server, it returns count>0: db2 "select count_big as count from tsmdb1.sd_chunk_locations where poolid=<pool_id> and cntrid=0 and length>0 and bitand(flags, 1)>0 for read only with ur" 3. When running SHOW UNRESOLVEDCHUNKS command via the IBM Storage Protect administrative client (dsmadmc) on the target replication server, there are state 3 chunks found, for example: State: Failed (3) Chunk Count: 270894 Total Size: 531318468616 This APAR affects both directory-container storage pools and cloud-container storage pools.
