API Connect v2018 to v10 form factor Migration and OVA upgrade error during import of CSV

Troubleshooting


Problem

When migrating form factors to OVA, users might see errors during the import of the CSV, if the new ISO is not generated using the same encryption secret that was used on the previous version.

Symptom

Try populating public_key_jwk in keystore for id nnnnnnn-nnnn-nnnn-nnnn-nnnnnnnnnnnn

Resolving The Problem

For form factor migration you should ensure you set the encryption-secret for your v10 deployment to be the same as the encryption-secret extracted from your v2018 source deployment as described in Installing the v10 target system on VMware
For OVA upgrade, ensure you used the same apicup project directory that you used to generate the v2018 instance to generate the v10 instance as described in Preparing the 2018 deployment for upgrade
