APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Even though only "string" type in query parameters is supported,
the following types/formats can be configured: file, byte,
binary, date, datetime, password, array, and object. When these
other types/formats are configured the DataPower will reload
when they are accessed in a request.

Local fix

  • As a workaround for the reload/crash, avoid using any of the
unsupported type/format query parameters in the configuration

Problem summary

  • Handle the unsupported type by ignoring instead of restarting.
