APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Adding or monitoring FS900 using SSH authentication rather than
    user name and password does not work after the 4Q23 Storage
    Insights update deployed in December.  Test Connection and Data
    Collection (probe and performance monitor) fail.
    

Local fix

  • Circumvent this problem by changing the connection method to
    user name and password to regain connectivity.  Right click the
    device and select Connections > Modify Connection. Change the
    Authentication field from "Secure Shell (SSH)" to "User Name and
    Password" and enter the appropriate credentials.
