PH60417: INCORRECT INDEX DSSIZE WHEN DEFAULT PAGENUM VALUE IS USED

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When Compare source is DDL and tablespace does not have PAGENUM
  specified, default value from ZPARM is used. But if default
  value is RELATIVE then DSSIZE for partitioned index is not
  correctly processed. Compare reports '(A)Field DSSIZE changed
  from 4G to 0G'
  

Local fix

• Workaround - explicitly specify PAGENUM value in CREATE
  TABLESPACE statement in source DDL

  When the Object Compare source is DDL and a CREATE TABLESPACE
  statement does not have the PAGENUM clause, the default value
  from the PAGESET_PAGENUM subsystem parameter is used. When it is
  set to RELATIVE, Object Compare will incorrectly report a change
  of DSSIZE for a partitioned index to 0G.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
