  This APAR delivers the following fixes/features for IBM zDIH:
  - Accelerated CICS core system integration with zDIH: Template
    application for CICS Event Processing Custom Adapter,
    integrating core business applications to share information
    with zDIH log stream based on CICS events without requiring
    core application changes.
  - Usability enhancements to the zDIH DevkKit: Parameter
    validations of JCL job card and copybooks used as input to
    zDIH DevKit. New configuration parameter added to specify
    customized JCL parameters for the user environment instead of
    the standard parameters used in auto-generated JCL
  - High availability enhancements to auto-generated zDIH
    application: Retry configuration parameters for generated
    zDIH application to automatically re-establish connection
    with the zDIH server.
  - Improved maintainability of zDIH applications: The maven
    build of generated zDIH applications create separate jars for
    model classes, zDIH application and dependencies. User needs
    to redeploy only the modified jar for simplified deployments.
  - Usability enhancements to zDIH Kafka connector: The key and
    value of zDIH cache fields are combined to form a single
    JSON document while writing to Kafka topics for ease of
    consumption by cloud applications.
  - PH59824: ZDIH MC NOT STARTING IN NON OPENJ9 JAVA IN
    MAC/LINUX/UNIX
  

Problem conclusion

• Applying the PTF for this APAR will change the IBM zDIH level to
  V2.1.2.0 as reported in the zDIH server log:
