  • When Merge is processing ADMIN ALTER INDEX <IXNAME> REPLACE
COLUMNS, its possible for it to incorrectly delete the wrong
column records leading to an invalid version file. This invalid
version file then leads to severe issues later down in compare.
Merge should properly delete the correct column records to
maintain a valid version file.

*                      ALTER INDEX REPLACE COLUMNS statement,  *
*                      resulting in a severe error.            *

When the merge function processes ADMIN ALTER INDEX REPLACE
COLUMNS for an index that has a blank in the column RELCREATED
in SYSIBM.SYSINDEXES, it might incorrectly delete the wrong
column records, resulting in an invalid version file. This
invalid version file results in severe error ADB7955E later
during the comparison.
