PH60091: OBJECT COMPARE TOOL IS GENERATING WORKLIST IN WRONG ORDER, CAUSING SQLCODE -628 ON APPLY JOB 24/03/15 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

Error description

• When the user uses Object Compare Tool to change PAGENUM on a
  Tablespace, the ALTER TABLESPACE is generated after ALTER INDEX.
  This causes SQLCODE -628 when Apply Job is run.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An Object Compare apply job fails with  *
  *                      SQLCODE -628 because of the incorrect   *
  *                      order of the ALTER statements.          *

  When table space PAGENUM is altered to RELATIVE and index DSSIZE
  is altered, Object Compare generates an ALTER INDEX statement
  before an ALTER TABLESPACE statement. This causes SQLCODE -628
  on ALTER INDEX.
