IJ50475: ERROR THROWN WHEN TRYING TO DIRECT PRINT WITH ATTACHMENTS WITH FILE NAMES THAT CONTAIN PARENTHESIS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying version 7.6.1.3 attached files that contain
  parenthesis in the name will cause the process to fail. This
  message will appear within the error message in the UI
  
  
  "Error:  SERRORReport failed to execute. Com.ibm.jsse2.util.j:
  PKIX path building failed:
  com.ibm.security.cert.IBMCertPathBuilderException: unable to
  find valid certification path to requested target"
  
  The log will show:
  [ERROR] [Mxserver] [] SilentPrintServlet error occured while
  getting the attachment; url=https://{server}/doclinks/ATTACHMEN
  TS/2024/03/04/(FileWithParens).jpg
  javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX
  path building failed:
  com.ibm.security.cert.IBMCertPathBuilderException: unable to
  find valid certification path to requested target
  	at com.ibm.jsse2.k.a(k.java:37) ~[?:8.0
  build_20190618--${buildid}]
  
  including a full stack trace
  
  If no attachments have parenthesis in their names the process
  works as it should
  This was not an issue in 7612
  
  
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  Attach a file of a printable type (jpg, pdf, png, gif, doc,
  docx) , etc to any work order
  Use the rint with attachments function
  System should prompt with 1 attachment found out of which 1 is
  printable.
  click OK to print
  Pop up should appear showing that it is in process
  Within a few seconds the error as described above will appear in
  the pop-up.
