IBM MaaS360 iOS Traveler Notification for IBM Secure Mail
Customers using feature described on this page need to read the following information for possible impact.
IBM MaaS360 platform will be performing an infrastructure change on 3 April 2024. As a result of the change, the Server URL (traveler-apns.maas360.com) for the Washington server, currently referencing IP address 173.193.219.244 will change to IP Address 169.55.90.28 post the change. Customers who have this feature enabled under MaaS360 admin console>setup>services>Secure Mail and enable Email Notification for iOS Device should ensure that their server URL: traveler-apns.maas360.com reference the correct IP address by 3 April 2024.
IMPACT
If customers have the Washington IP address configured in outbound firewall allowlist versus domaintraveler-apns.maas360.com and do not add new IP address, then the feature iOS Traveler Notification for IBM Secure mail will stop working.
ACTION
Customers using the iOS Traveler Notifications for the IBM Secure Mail Client feature the Washington Server IP Address 173.193.219.244 configured in outbound firewall allowlist need to add new IP Address 169.55.90.28.
