Maximo Mobile 8.x synchronization errors out when users are changing the status of workorder to COMP/KLAR.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Maximo is installed in two languages, English and Swedish. Create a work order and assign it to the Maximo Mobile user. The User is able to receive the work order and perform changes to the work order. However, when the User tries to change the status of the work order to completed (COMP), the following error occurs: "The synonym value COMP is not valid for the domain WOSTATUS".

Diagnosing The Problem

Looking at the error, it shows that another status value is called, "KLAR", which is the same as COMP in Swedish.
Both COMP and KLAR are valid for the domain WOSTATUS.
The "KLAR" status is not showing for the user when they are trying to change the work order status.

Resolving The Problem

To resolve the issue, check if the value of the maximo.mobile.completestatus system property is set to the expected value - in this particular case, KLAR instead of COMP.
This value controls the status of the workorder when the user clicks on the Complete Work button from the Maximo Mobile application (Technician).
If the value is not correct, the error from the log will be similar to this one: "The synonym value COMP is not valid for the domain <your_domain>".
Changing the value from COMP to KLAR in the maximo.mobile.completestatus system property and performing a Live Refresh resolved the issue.
