IBM Support

REST API query returns error code 278

Troubleshooting

Problem

When running a REST API query against a Planning Analytics server, an error is thrown stating the object does not exist

Symptom

{"error":{"code":"278","message":"'Test' can not be found in collection of type 'Chore'."}}

Cause

Issue is related to permissions/security. In this case, the non-interactive (NI) account is being used to query the server via REST. Although the NI account has been added to the }clients dimension, it has not been granted any permissions to objects.

Environment

Planning Analytics on Cloud

Resolving The Problem

To resolve the issue, grant the appropriate security to the NI account
