Problem

Unable to migration Planning Analytics Database.  Errors occur: Dimension could not be Compiled - Blank element found in dimension

Symptom

Planning Analytics Database Migration Fails with error:

Resolving The Problem

  • In this example, ELEMENT_NAME exists in dimension_name as a consolidated element
  • For an unknown reason, the element still exists in the Leaves hierarchy of dimension_name
  • Review the problematic element and update the model accordingly
