Abstract
Print queue status does not update
Description
An incorrect print queue status may be shown after a print job completes.
The status shown by commands like 'qchk' and 'lpstat' may continue to show RUNNING instead of returning to READY as expected.
The printing subsystem will still be able to process and print new jobs; however, tools that monitor and manage the print queue may have issues.

Before the APAR fix is available, an interim fix (iFix) is available for each affected level.
The available interim fixes might apply only to the latest Service Packs. If a custom interim fix is required, contact IBM Support.
The interim fixes can be downloaded from the same location by using HTTPS or FTPS.
