APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The "Try Pro for free" option in Storage Insights Web UI is
    active even after the trial period has ended. Consequently, when
    the customer attempted to enable it, the process failed.
    Upon selecting "Try Pro for free," a pop-up alert appeared with
    description 'Try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, try
    again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, click Get Help
    in the help menu of the GUI to explore your support options. You
    can also go to your Products and services page, click the
    down-arrow for the IBM Storage Insights Pro offering, click
    Support, and then choose an option.'
    
    The expectation is that the "Try Pro for free" option should not
    be available once the trial has been initiated. Additionally,
    customers should only have the option to enable a 60-day free
    Pro trial once per tenant.
