APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Clients restricting access by IP address will have some internal
requests from the New UI rejected because the IP address
127.0.0.1 will not match their access polices. The rejected
requests may sometimes impact the New UI's display.

Local fix

  • For access rules related to the UI processing that are based on
IP addresses, make a second copy of those access rules and set
    the matching address to 127.0.0.1.

Problem summary

  • Some internal requests of the new UI are wrongly considered to
come from 127.0.0.1 instead of the clients IP address.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix
