APAR status

Error description

  • When importing custom blocks their uuids are not preserved and
are created with new ones, this resulted in references in block
configurations breaking and blocks not showing any content.

Problem summary


    

  • When doing a site import with an export that contains custom
Drupal blocks and block content the blocks would become broken.
Instead in their place they will show the message - "This block
is broken or missing. You may be missing content or you might
need to enable the original module"

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • On import of site content with is concern of the data in block
content, the uuids were not being preserved. This meant the
reference link in the block config wasn't point to any entity.
The import process for site content now preserves the the uuids
of entities so that reference can still exist on a site import.
Fixed in 10.0.5.6 and 10.0.8.0
