Error description
Whenever a PR is being routed, in Workflow, to next role having calendar based assignment, if the shift associated to the next person in route does not having the work periods defined for the duration mentioned on the workflow assignment, the workflow is not getting routed and assigned but does nothing. Here are the steps: Go to Roles and create a new role (PGCAL) -Type: A set of data related to the record -Object: PR -Value: :supervisor, Broadcast checkbox is checked In Workflow Designer, create a new 1 task process for PR (CALBASEPG) -Assignment table add Role: PGCAL and check Calendar Based? add duration as 72:00 -Click ok to close and ad the action lines from start to task to stop -Save, Enable, Activate Go to People record -recall the supervisor record to be used ADAMS -Ensure -> Calendar=DAY and Shift=DAY Go to Modify Person availability , add vacation for next 3 days. Enter Work Dates with reason code as VAC for next 3 days. Go to Calendar application-> open the record Calendar=DAY Click on Work Periods tab Filter with Shift=DAY configured on Labor record for supervisor. Remove the shift entries for the next 2 days ( after the date of the route of PR i.e. if PR is getting routed on September 28th, remove the work periods on 29th September and 2nd October) . Do not remove work period on September 28th NOTE: if the next future dates are the weekend, the weekend dates are not included in the Work Periods, therefore, remove the business dates for the number of days in the future stipulated above i.e. 2 days Go to PR application and insert new PR and enter the the labor record that was configured for supervisor on PR-Supervisor field Save the record. Initiate Workflow (CALBASEPG process). RESULT: the following system message is thrown and the pr record does NOT get assigned. If you go to the left-hand navigation panel and select Workflow-View Workflow Assignments from the menu option, the resulting dialog box is BLANK. BMXAA4407E - A nested exception caused the workflow process to fail. null EXPECTED RESULTS: the pr record should be assigned to ADAMS
