APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus GUI, navigating to
    'Manage Protection' -> 'IBM Spectrum Protect Plus' -> 'Restore'
    causes a pop-up message "Access Key Not Found Exception".
    
    In the virgo log, at the time of the error the following message
    is observed :
    
    INFO .. Refreshing latest catalog protection time
    INFO .. Error refreshing latestProtectionTime cache com.
            catalogic.ecx.serviceprovider.cloud.domain.error.
            AccessKeyNotFoundException:
            Failed to find access key for cloud provider
            (name: <DeletedCloudEndpointName>).
            at ...
    Caused by: com.syncsort.dp.xsb.persistence.dao.
               XSBRecordDoesNotExistException: null
            at ...
    
    The error is about <DeletedCloudEndpointName> which is a Cloud
    endpoint that existed in the system at the time of the backup,
    but then was deleted.

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus catalog restore has been fixed to
    filter out logically deleted cloud providers.   This will
    prevent the "Access Key Not Found Exception" error from being
    returned to the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus catalog restore UI.
