Error description
IBM Storage Insights Data Collector on AIX was showing down-level status, and automatic upgrade has failed. Uninstalled the old Data Collector and tried to install the new data collector downloaded from Storage Insights. Extracted the file and ran installDataCollectorService.sh and got below error. /opt/IBM/Storage_Insights # installDataCollectorService.sh failed to open </opt/IBM/Storage_Insights/jre/lib/default/libjvm.so> - reason: < 0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/IBM/Storage_Insights/jre/lib/default/libjvm.so. 0509-150 Dependent module libc++.a(shr_64.o) could not be loaded. 0509-022 Cannot load module libc++.a(shr_64.o). 0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist. 0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/IBM/Storage_Insights/jre/lib/default/libjvm.so. 0509-150 Dependent module /opt/IBM/Storage_Insights/jre/lib/default/libjvm.so could not be loaded.> Failed to find VM - aborting Data Collector service will be registered in /etc/rc.d. Failed to find VM - aborting Can't configure the connection to the proxy server. Check the proxy connection information and retry. The data collector was installed as a service: "dataCollector_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx". Base directory: /opt/IBM/Storage_Insights. If that is missing the Data Collector will not install or upgrade properly. Problem conclusion
