Preventive Service Planning
Abstract
This document provides information on the latest available maintenance for IBM MQ products alongside future planned maintenance. These planned dates are subject to change. IBM updates this page as soon as changes to release dates are known.

From 2023 there are two types of IBM MQ maintenance: Fix Packs and Cumulative Security Updates (CSUs). As Cumulative Security Updates are delivered only when required in response to a disclosed security vulnerability, they are not given a planned date.

To identify the target maintenance delivery of an APAR (code fix), either check the published APAR page or contact an IBM service representative. If you need more information to resolve your problem, refer to the IBM MQ Support portal. If you still cannot resolve your problem, and you have a maintenance contract, then raise a problem by using the Service Request (SR) Tool.
In Support releases
Until a release reaches end of service, IBM provides regular fix packs.

Extended Support releases
For releases that are in their extended support period, and eligible for new bug fixes as defined by the IBM extended support policy, IBM provides relevant security updates as additional CSUs.

End of Life releases
