Error description

  • When a column is dropped from a table using Object Compare and
the USE PROFILE option is set for REORG utility, REORG can fail
if the table has a statistics profile that references a dropped
column.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the USE PROFILE option for the     *
*                      REORG utility is set to 'Y', and Object *
*                      Compare drops a column with profile     *
*                      statistics, the generated REORG         *
*                      statement fails.                        *
****************************************************************
When a column with profile statistics is dropped from a table,
the USE PROFILE option is not valid for the REORG statement that
is used to materialize this change. Object Compare should not
include USE PROFILE in the REORG statement when a column is
dropped.
