Problem
When loading EnterpriseRecordsPlugin from IBM Content Navigator, IBM Enterprise Records throws an exception.
Symptom

Environment
IBM Enterprise Records version 5.2.1
Resolving The Problem
In case of IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation 23.0.2, manually load the EnterpriseRecordsPlugin for the below two scenarios:
1. New installation
2. Upgrade to IBM Enterprise Records 5.2.1.8 interim fix 5. Note, this step is an optional scenario and you can continue to use interim fix 4 without any changes.
Follow the steps to manually load the EnterpriseRecordsPlugin from IBM Content Navigator:
- Download the IERApplicationPlugin.jar from the link https://<zen_front_door_route>/ier/EnterpriseRecordsPlugin/IERApplicationPlugin.jar. The <zen_front_door_route> can be determined by running the command,
oc get routes | grep cpd. - Update IBM Enterprise Records plug-in:
- Copy the IBM Content Navigator plug-in files from your on-premises location to the /opt/ibm/plugins path in the IBM Content Navigator volume by running the following commands,
podname=$(oc get pod | grep navigator pod name | awk '{print $1}')
kubectl cp <path>/IERApplicationPlugin.jar NAMESPACE/$podname:/opt/ibm/plugins - Open the administration desktop in the web client.
- Click Plug-ins, choose the plug-in you want to update, and then click Edit.
- Reload the plug-in from the new path in the IBM Content Navigator volume. The plug-in file must be in the /opt/ibm/plugins path in the volume.
- Provide any additional configuration updates that the plug-in requires.
- Save your changes.
