Summary
To add Logos in Maximo Application Suite, it can be through the Frontend and Backend.
Since we don't have access to the customers' Backend, here is a procedure to be added to the Frontend.
Objective
The Purpose of this Document is to instruct customers to update the default IBM Logo of their reports to the wanted Logo.
Steps
From Report Admin, Export Library. Export the MaximoSystemLibrary.rptlibrary.
A compressed file with the rptlibrary file and a gif file (IBM_logo_Black.gif).
A compressed file with the rptlibrary file and a gif file (IBM_logo_Black.gif).
Extract and edit the rptlibrary file with a text editor.
Replace all 4 references with the default "IBM_logo_Black.gif", with the name of your logo file, in the format (GIF, PNG, JPG).
Replace all 4 references with the default "IBM_logo_Black.gif", with the name of your logo file, in the format (GIF, PNG, JPG).
Save the rptdesign file.
Compressed up your New Logo file.
Select Import Library File in Report Admin, Pick MaximoSystemLibrary.rptlibrary.
Then, find your updated rptlibrary file.
Select Import Library File in Report Admin, Pick MaximoSystemLibrary.rptlibrary.
Then, find your updated rptlibrary file.
The Report Resource file is your compressed up logo.
