  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CDP 2023 December maintenance for       *
  *                      defects fixed in Data Collector:        *
  *                      - Data collector hangs in loop.         *
  *                      - Data collector cannot create topic.   *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this PTF.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  - Data collector hangs in a loop.
  In some cases, Data Collector could not get information from the
  topics IBM-CDP-DataCollector-Configuration or IBM-CDP-zOS-System
  which will cause it to go into a loop and hang.
  
  - Data collector cannot create topic.
  Data Collector cannot create topics when dc.topic-replica-factor
  is larger than the number of the available brokers.
  

Problem conclusion

• CDP is updated to fix these defects.
