Troubleshooting
Problem
When you try to import the Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) config to set TSM as the archive or backup target, you get an error and the import can't proceed.
Symptom
The error shown is returned when you run the import tsm config command from the path to the dsm.sys and cert256.arm:
Can't exec "/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmcert": No such file or directory at /opt/IBM/Guardium/cli/subs_misc.pl line 4006. Error importing the certificate 1 error(s) encoutered while importing dsm.sys. Please fix and redo the import
Cause
It seems there is no expected data in the directory mentioned in the error text:
"/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmcert": No such file or directory at /opt/IBM/Guardium/cli/subs_misc.pl .."

Resolving The Problem
One method to resolve is to install the latest Health Checker p9997 patch available on IBM Fix Central. If that displays any issues, resolve them before you move to install the latest available patch for the currently installed Guardium GPU.
After the system has been patched to the latest bundle, try the import command once more.
If the issue is not resolved, please raise a case with IBM Security Guardium L2 support to refer to the Internal Section of this technote.
