  The compiler's internal state may become inaccurate if the
  final statement in a paragraph is a "GO TO ... DEPENDING ON"
  statement, and is followed immediately by a procedure the GO TO
  goes to, and this procedure is not the first procedure
  specified in the GO TO statement. When the compiler detects
  that its internal state is inaccurate, it abends.
