APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If a user tries to create a new worklog on a workorder
    (containing other worklogs) within a duplicated mobile Work
    Order Tracking application, then the long description of the
    first worklog will be present in the new worklog. The user is
    also unable to edit anything in the long description field.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Prerequisites:
    -	Open the Work Order Tracking application and click to add a
    new work order
    -	Enter a description: Test WO work log
    -	Select an asset
    -	Click on tab Log
    
    -	Click on New Row and then enter:
    o	Summary: First Log
    o	Details: This is the first log for this work order
    o	Save and take a note of the work order created
    1.	Open the Application Designer application and the details for
    the application WOTRACK
    2.	Select the action Duplicate Application Definition:
    a.	Application: WOTRACKMOB
    b.	Description: Work Order Tracking Mobile
    c.	Is Mobile? Checked
    d.	Click OK
    3.	Log out from Maximo and relog in
    4.	Open the Work Order Tracking Mobile application and the
    details of the work order just created.
    5.	Click on tab Log.
    6.	Click on New Row to add a log - the long description is
    already filled in with the one from the first log: This is the
    first log for this work order
    RESULT:
    The long description of the first worklog will be present in the
    new worklog.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The long description should be empty and editable.

    Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.3
