Summary
This document provides you with the steps to remove all diagrams from an IBM Industry Models ERwin file using CA ERwin Data Modeler.
Objective
The objective is the ability to import your IBM Industry Models ERwin logical data model into IBM Cloud Pak for Data to automatically assign its entities and attributes to Knowledge Accelerators terms imported into IBM Knowledge Catalog.
In order to import your ERwin Data Model, it will have to be exported from ERwin Data Modeler as Standard xml with all diagrams removed.
Steps
To remove all the diagrams in ERwin:
- Open your IBM Industry Models Logical Data Model into CA ERwin Data Modeler
- Go to View -> Panes -> Bulk Editor
- Open the Bulk editor.
- Select the icon for the Bulk Editor Wizard and in the options only select ERDiagrams. This will show all diagrams in the bulk editor.
- Select all the diagrams and delete.
