Error description
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Pre-requisites: a) In the System Properties application: . System Property mxe.app.inventor.updateReservations = 1 b) In the Organizations app, for EAGLENA Organization, Inventory Options > Inventory Defaults: . Automatically create usage documents for new reservations: No . Disallow Negative Balance: Yes . Disallow Negative Available Balance: Yes Steps: 1. Go to Item Master application. 2. Create a new Item record with any valid number and both Order and Issue Units = EACH. 3. Change the Item status to ACTIVE, selecting the option "Roll New Status to Organizations and Inventory?". 4. Add the Item to CENTRAL Storeroom, with the following info: Unit Cost: 1.00 Current Balance: 10.00 5. Go to WO Tracking application. 6. Create a new WO record against any valid GL Account. 7. Save, approve the WO, and take note of its number. 8. Go to Inventory application. 9. From More Actions menu, select Add/Modify Reservations. 10. In the Add/Modify Reservations dialog, click on New Row button, enter the following info, and click OK: . Item: the Item in question . Reservation Type: HARD . Reserved Quantity: 10.00 . From Storeroom: CENTRAL . Work Order: the WO above 11. Still in Inventory application, bring up the Item record to the screen. Then, from More Actions menu, select Issue Current Item. 12. In the Issue Current Item dialog, enter the following info and click OK: . Quantity: 10.00 . Work Order: the WO above. RESULTS: At this point, the system throws the error "BMXAA1891E - The available balance will become negative as a result of this transaction.". This is the issue. EXPECTED RESULTS: No error while trying to issue the Item. REPORTED IN VERSION: IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3
