Download and install the migration toolkit for IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.4 SP2 or later to enable migration of Information Analyzer and Information Governance Catalog data and processes to IBM Knowledge Catalog in IBM Cloud Pak for Data 4.8.x or 5.0.x or 5.1.x or 5.2.x.

Download the latest migration toolkit for InfoSphere Information Server from Fix Central: iis-migration-toolkit-5.0.4183

After the toolkit is downloaded, refer back to the migration documentation and continue the steps outlined in the documentation:

If your source system is InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.4 SP2, install these patches before migrating.

 
 

  • Information Services Framework Rollup 1 Patch

     
    This rollup patch addresses several issues in the Information Server 11.7.1.4 SP2 Services tier.
     
    Download and install interim fix is11714SP2ISF_RU1_services_all.
     

  • InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.4 SP2 Data Quality patch

     
    This patch addresses issues related to Data Quality in Information Server 11.7.1.4 SP2.
     
    Download and install interim fix patch_DT391922_IA_11714sp2.
     

InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.5

 

If your source system is InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.5, install this patch before migrating.

 
 

  • InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.5 Data Quality patch

     
    This patch addresses issues related to Data Quality in Information Server 11.7.1.5.
     
    Download and install interim fix patch_DT391922_IA_11715.
