Error description
Using Dynamic Test Runner (DTR) v2.0.x for recording of an IMS test case, abend S0C4 occurs in the temporary dataset while IMS is being recorded (BZUFILE) when BZUFILE is a VSAM data set defined as RLS.
Local fix
If using one IMS message region: stop using the current BZUFILE, allocate a non-RLS VSAM file for BZUFILE data set.

This causes data to be imported into the zUnit client incorrectly and invalid test case programs to be generated.
Problem conclusion
1.Installing this update eliminates the attempt to modify the VSAM-RLS record area, allowing DTR to complete the BZUE tranaction properly. 2.Removed the automatic setting of records to 'pending delete' during setup and added logic to consume them properly when the skip records are encountered during playback 3.Code corrected 4.Code corrected
