    USERS AFFECTED:
    Users installing IBM MQ

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Due to order of the installation of MQ components, a very small
timing window exists where a call to dspmqver by the installer
may occur before a required CCSID file is written to the file
system by another MQ installation component.

Problem conclusion

  • The timing window has been removed by checks during the install
    process
