The Webview2 is a prerequisite software distributed by Microsoft for DOORS >= 9.7.2.7.

Check to make sure the Webview2 Runtime software is installed on the client machine.
Resolving The Problem
Webview2 is a prerequisite software distributed by Microsoft for DOORS >= 9.7.2.7.
The underlying Internet Explorer based control is replaced with the edge-based Microsoft distributed WebView2 control.

- The DOORS 9.7.2.7 client application requires the Microsoft® WebView2 Runtime to use the EdgeView related controls and DXL perms. The Microsoft® WebView2 Runtime is already a part of the Windows 11 operating system and the Windows 10 operating system with the latest service pack. If required, it can download the Microsoft® WebView2 Runtime from the Microsoft website (The Evergreen Standalone Installer x64 download package is recommended).

- The web browser technology embedded in the DOORS client application used for the OSLC selection and creation dialogs. It is now based on the Microsoft® Edge Webview2 UI control instead of the Microsoft Internet Explorer based browser UI Control.
