Error description

• Problem Description
  User is changing a data type from NUMERIC to ALN from an
  attribute in classification application but it's not reflecting
  while user use it in Asset application. Every time user
  classifies an asset record with the classification, it is
  showing the specification with Alphanumeric read only and
  Numeric value field open to user enter a value.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:   clear recreate steps that make sense to
  someone not involved in PMR/Case.
  .GO TO >> ADMINISTRATION >> CLASSIFICATION
  .Create a new classification
  .Classification: TEST001
  .Click YES in the system message
  .Organization: EAGLENA
  .Site: BEDFORD
  .Save
  .In Use With section, add a new row
  .Use With Object: ASSET
  .In Attributes section, add a new row
  .Attribute: NUM_ORIG
  .tab out
  .In the question mark, click YES to add it
  .Data Type: NUMERIC
  .Add second new row
  .Attribute: ALN_ORIG
  .tab out
  .In the question mark, click YES to add it
  .Data Type: ALN
  .Save
  
  .GO TO >> ASSETS >> ASSETS
  .Brig up any existing asset and open it (IE 13180)
  .Click in Specifications tab
  .In classification field, classify with the classification we
  created in the second step
  .Enter the following informtion
  NUM_ORIG - Numeric Value: 2.0
  ALN_ORIG - Alphaumeric Value: ABC1000
  .Save
  
  .GO TO >> ADMINISTRATION >> CLASSIFICATION
  .In Attributes section, delete line for NUM_ORIG attribute.
  .Click YES
  .Save
  .SELECT ACTIONS >> ADD/Modify Properties >> Attributes
  .Delete NUM_ORIG attribute as well
  .Click OK
  .Add a new row in Attribute section
  .Attribute: NUM_ORIG
  .tab out
  .In the question mark, click YES to add it
  .Data Type: ALN
  .Save
  
  .GO TO >> ASSETS >> ASSETS
  .Bring the same asset again (ie 13180)
  .Click in Specification tab
  . Reclassify the asset with same classification
  
  RESULTS: Alphanumeric field is read only and user can't enter
  any value for an specification with type ALN. Specifications
  remains as numeric type.
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:   User expects to be able to enter a value in
  Alphanumeric field in Asset application after change the data
  type for an attribute in classification.
