APAR status

Error description

  • The device models 996 or 998 for storage DS8950F type 5334 is
    not recognized by Storage Insights.
    The following error is displayed when trying to open a support
    ticket:
    
    Creating support ticket for system 2107.75XXXXX
    The support case was not opened for the device with serial
    number 2107.75XXXXX. The license agreement for the device might
    be expired.
    
    This issue concerns only the software ticket for the DS8950F
    type 5334 - model 996 or 998.
    There is no problem to open hardware ticket against these
    storage.
    
    
    Other Storage type/model affected: DS8950F - type 5341 - model
    996
