PH57309: 'SEARCH IN FILES' DOESN'T EXCLUDE SOME FOLDERS SPECIFIED IN AD BATCH SERVER'S PROJECT.PROPERTIES FILE AND GIVES UNWANTED RESULTS

Error description

• In AD Batch Server's project.properties file, the
  "project.<projectName>.index.exclude.folderPattern=" parameter
  filters by the parent folder of any file. For example,
  index.exclude.folderPattern=CPY excludes both ...\AAA\CPY and
  ...\BBB\CPY folders. If users want to exclude ...\AAA\CPY but
  not ...\BBB\CPY, then be aware that
  index.exclude.folderPattern=AAA or
  index.exclude.folderPattern=AAA\CPY will not work.

  The way to specify the folders to exclude in the
  'project.TEST.index.exclude.folderPattern=' section is changed
  so all entries for this section must be corrected and the
  indexes must be recreated.
  

Problem conclusion

• 'Search in Files' was improved to be able to exclude folders
  with the same name from different paths.
  In "IBM Application Discovery Batch
  Server\conf\project.properties" file in
  "#index.exclude.folderPattern=pattern(,pattern)..." section the
  folders you want to skip could be configured like here:
  project.ProjectName.index.exclude.folderPattern=.+ParentFolder1\
  \\\CPY,.+ParentFolder2\\\\CPY,.+\\\\FolderName
