Troubleshooting
Problem
After Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) upgrade, users are not able to log in to PAfE with CAM authentication. They receive the following error:
"The PMHub service parameter was not specified or is not one of the configured locations"
Resolving The Problem
Re-create the "Office Connection" folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Cognos\Office Connection
- Close Excel
- Go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Cognos\
- Rename the "Office Connection" folder to "Office Connection_OLD" folder
- Open Excel and setup connection to PAW as re-creating of the "Office Connection" folder deletes all existing entries
