APAR status

Error description

• When YES is specified for option "Report Revoke Impacts" on
  panel ADB2RT when doing a revoke of SELECT WITH GRANT OPTION on
  an authorization on a view., the impact report showed some views
   being dropped.  However, when the revoke statement was issued,
  more views that were not in the report were dropped. A similar
  problem happens when revoking DBADM authority. In addition,
  views are not shown as supported in the help panel for ADB2RIP
  and the line command 'I' on panel ADB2RIP shows incorrect
  information for dropped views.

  The user specified YES for option "Report Revoke Impacts" and
  NO for option "Report Dropped Synonyms & Aliases" on panel
  ADB2RT when revoking SELECT WITH GRANT OPTION on an
  authorization on a view. The impact report showed some views
  that will be dropped, but when the REVOKE statement was issued,
  more views that were not listed in the report were dropped.
  
  Also, this APAR addresses the following related problems:
  -Panel ADB2RT does not scroll to the bottom options when
  splitting the screen.
  -The help panel ADBHRIP does not list view as a valid option
  for the OT column
  - A new message is needed when issuing the "I" line command on
  panel ADB2RT for a dropped view. The new message is ADBB207I:
  'This view will be dropped - no revoke privilege info to show'
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been resolved.
